Hello! My name is Erica, I’m 19 years old, and I live in the beautiful state of Colorado. I’m currently studying Information Science with a minor in Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. My hobbies include playing video games, hanging out with friends, attending concerts, listening to music, watching Netflix, baking, reading, eating, and of course, writing.
This is my personal blog that I use to write about anything and everything that pops up in my mind. I tend to write in all lowercase letters, and I tend to style my writing informally. Though my writing is not what you would consider to be traditional poetry, it is my own form of poetry, in which I refer to as Lucid Ballads. Pieces of writing that bring me to my knees, where my vulnerability is grossly exposed to the world. I mean every word that appears in my writing and these posts allow me to express myself in the rawest form possible. This blog is my catharsis.
Ever since I was young, I found writing enjoyable. Whether it be a silly short story, an essay for an AP English test, or an APA style research paper for my college level courses, I love writing. I love the thought of placing different words and letters in different orders to create a phrase that means something different every single time. The thought still intrigues me today, and I strive to make a change with the words I use.
